Weiwu Zhang is a Blockchain architect, cryptographer and distributed computing technology expert. Weiwu is an open-source advocate involved in a broad range of projects from FinTech solutions to IoT with a wealth of experience in the banking sector and in the Chinese tech landscape.


Bokky PooBah
Ethereum expert

Bok is the owner of Bok Consulting Pty Ltd, a Sydney based niche information technology consultancy established in 1998, servicing the needs of the banking and finance sector.

His particular expertise is in fixed interest and derivatives in risk management and trading systems, and now blockchains.

He works with small to large systems across multiple computational environments. We develop pricing and modeling calculation modules, integrate systems and build bespoke systems.

He has been working with the technical aspects of the trusted and decentralised Ethereum blockchain network since 2015, and are now working to bring fiat and digital currency financial instruments onto the blockchain.


Luke Anderson
Cybersecurity expert

Luke Anderson is a director in Sigma-Prime (σ') currently undertaking his PhD at The University of Sydney where he also lectures on information security. Luke's PhD examines Blockchain design in detail and he is currently investigating various Blockchain peer-to-peer networks. Luke and his colleagues at Sigma Prime also have experience in cryptocurrency mining and are up to date with the latest Blockchain and cybersecurity technologies.

Nick is an IT professional specializing in blockchain/distributed ledger technologies and financial services.

Nick is a member of Fintech Australia and co-leads the Blockchain subcommittee which is engaged in policy and standards setting for emerging Blockchain technologies.

Nick frequently speaks at Blockchain events and universities. He also helps run the Sydney Ethereum meetup.


Emma Poposka

Interested in leveraging technology to solve business issues, improve business performance and deliver more agile, streamlined, cost-effective and customer friendly solutions. She is particularly interested in blockchain technology and its utilization across different industry verticals as well as in combination with other technological trends like IoT, AI and Autonomic platforms. 


Jason Williams

Jason has been passionate about IT from a young age and has been involved with emerging technologies from early stages including the rollout of cable internet in Australia and the Netherlands. Returning to Australia in 2008 Jason continued his career implementing the AML systems for the Westpac group.

Discovering Bitcoin in late 2012 and seeing the potential of this disruptive and innovative technology, Jason seized the opportunity to make a difference.

During his career in bitcoin and blockchain technology, Jason co-founded the Bitcoin Sydney group, became a founding member of the Bitcoin Association of Australia, started BitPOS, a bitcoin payment processor and founded Blockchain Professionals.

In addition to being invited to speak at local and international events, Jason has been invited to speak with federal government, regulators and major Australian financial institutions on Bitcoin and blockchain technology.

He believes Bitcoin and blockchain technology set to revolutionize the world and is fostering it to grow and mature into an everyday technology for everybody.

Emma is a co-founder of AgriDigital and as CEO leads all aspects of the business' strategy, stakeholder engagement, Blockchain and talent management with oversight of the sales, broader technology and operational environments. In May 2016 Emma led the AgriDigital team (formerly known as Full Profile) to a winning pitch at the BlockHack16 in Sydney, Australia demonstrating a working agri-blockchain and again in June 2016 at the Australian Blockchain Summit. In September, 2016, AgriDigital became the first agtech company to demonstrate at Finovate Fall, the world's leading fintech conference; launching its platform for agri supply chains.
