Dr Veljko Prodanovic is Research Associate at Water Research Centre (UNSW), who works on the development of integrated urban modelling tool for green technology placements within the urban fabric. His other research interests are development multi-benefit greening systems for water treatment and their impact on water cycle, microclimate and public health. During his PhD, Veljko worked on Integrated multi-functional urban water systems, focusing on the interdisciplinary challenges in delivering green sustainable urban water infrastructures capable of treating various sources of wastewater (most notably greywater and stormwater). His work involved developing and testing new green water treatment technologies such as Green walls for greywater reuse. Veljko is continuing his work on developing green sustainable multipurpose technologies for water, food, energy and health.
