Emma graduated from the University of Sydney in 2004 and completed her Master of Sports Physiotherapy in 2013. She is a super experienced hands on Physio who has now stepped into the exercise rehabilitation world at Physiocise.
She has always been interested in sports physiotherapy, working particularly with football/ soccer, basketball and rugby teams, for both adults and adolescents. She combined this sports team work with her career beginning in hospitals in both Sydney and England, working mainly in orthopaedics and outpatients.
She then continued expanding her interest in the sporting and general population whilst working for 5 years in a large Sydney private practice, with a number of experienced sports physiotherapists.
Emma is fortunate enough to have spent clinical experience time at the Australian Institute of Sport and with specialist Physiotherapists with interests in tendons, shoulders and knees.
Throughout her career Emma has become more and more interested in whole-body assessment and treatment. She enjoys teaching people how to know their own bodies better, to assist people in achieving their goals.
Her was a Committee member for the NSW Sports Physiotherapy Association from 2011 to 2014, (and keeps Physiocise up to date with the latest news in the world of research).
She had been integral in the development of the Physiocise teen classes.
