Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has hailed Real Madrid’s newly renovated Santiago Bernabeu as the best football ground in the world after visiting it last week.

The newly-built £1 billion Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has already surpass both the Emirates and Anfield, but Carragher, who recently visit the Santiago Bernabeu, believes it deserves to be hail as the world’s best.
“I was at the Santiago Bernabeu last week to watch the Champions League,” Carragher told The Overlap. “When you’re a kid in England you always ask your parents to buy you a Real Madrid or Barcelona shirt. Those are the clubs เว็บพนันออนไลน์ UFABET สมัครง่าย โปรโมชั่นมากมาย that have a certain charm for us.”
“I’ve always been a Barcelona fan because Gary Lineker moved there from Everton in the mid-80s. When I speak to Spanish players at Liverpool, they always see Real Madrid as the Spanish club.”
“I use to play at the old Bernabéu, but last week I stood in the new stadium and thought to myself, ‘This is the best!’ I almost thought to myself that I understand why Trent want to come here! I hope he hasn’t seen the new roof yet.”
“But to be honest, every time we go to Tottenham, we always say that the stadium is one of the best in the world, but Real Madrid’s stadium is the best in the world. It’s a special feeling when you’re on the pitch.”
