Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has hailed Real Madrid’s newly renovated Santiago Bernabeu as the best football ground in the world after visiting it last week.
The newly-built £1 billion Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has already surpass both the Emirates and Anfield, but Carragher, who recently visit the Santiago Bernabeu, believes it deserves to be hail as the world’s best.
“I was at the Santiago Bernabeu last week to watch the Champions League,” Carragher told The Overlap. “When you’re a kid in England you always ask your parents to buy you a Real Madrid or Barcelona shirt.
